Ravi is a childhood cancer survivor. He lost most of his childhood to extended hospitalizations. Those experiences as well as references to the high risk of developing cancer or other health issues again as a result of aggressive, long-term treatment/chemo as well as his chosen profession may come up, so please let me know if you'd prefer it doesn't.

Ravi is a first responder. The situations he's dealt with can be gruesome, but I won't go into gory details. However, references to death and risk of injury both to people he tried to help/save, his co-workers and himself are possible.

Has a good and close relationship to his parents, especially his mother, who stayed at his side through the many years of hospitalization. Has a younger sister, Diya. Has extended family back in India. His favourite grandfather died when Ravi was still in the hospital.
Cat Dad.
 Has three cats: Leia (Turkish Angora mix), Jasmine (Bengal mix), Buttercup (Siamese mix). They're all from the shelter, not from breeders.
From Kerala.
 Born in  Thrissur in Kerala, India. He was 4 when his parents migrated to the USA. Still has extended family in Thrissur.
Languages.
 Speaks English and Malayalam fluently. Has tried learning Hindi, but isn't fluent in it.
Landlord Details.
 When he buys an apartment building, he moves into one unit, renovates it, then rents it out and moves into the next unit. Rinse and repeat. He keeps rent fair, and is very hands-on with his properties.
Paying It Forward.
 The reason he wants to build generational wealth is because his family was briefly homeless as a result of medical bills incurred due to his long battle with childhood cancer. He got into property investment to secure a roof over his family, and ensure they will never financially struggle again.
